PL CEREMONIES AND SERVICES
-
SUNDAY SERVICE - time is vary depends on each Church.
Each week through the Sunday Service, we have the special
opportunity to receive Oshieoya-sama's blessing and to deepen
our faith in PL. Although we may think, "I know PL teachings,"
without weekly contact with Oshieoya-sama, we can easily get
side-tracked. Just as we must eat and sleep regularly to refresh
our bodies, we must come in contact with Oshieoya-sama regularly
to renew our faith.
PL faith grows not through intellectual understanding but by actively
participating in PL devotions. We can participate in PL devotion by
giving testimonies of our own Oyashikiri experiences, the experiences
of practicing PL teachings, and by listening to the testimonies of other
members. In addition, by receiving the sermon at the Sunday Service, we
embody PL teachings and are able to practice them in our everyday life.
Oshieoya-sama purifies us through the Sunday Service so that we are
able to start the new week with fresh, pure minds. Members of PL are
strongly urged to participate in the Sunday Service. If you live too far
from Church so that you cannot attend Sunday Service, contact the Church
at least once a week to receive Oshieoya-sama's blessing.
